Alex Batres is a California native and is a graduate of Cal State Fullerton.
She spent the past two years in Wyoming working as the morning anchor for an ABC affiliate station and doesn't miss driving in the snow at 2 a.m.!Alex was responsible for jump-starting a number of segments on the morning show. Including, health, fitness and cooking segments. Alex also started a "Mommy Makeover" series in which local mothers were surprised and pampered for the day.
Besides anchoring, she also reported on a number of issues affecting the people in Wyoming. Some of the stories she covered were the juvenile justice system, child predators and domestic violence victims.
In college, Alex interned at KCBS/KCAL and Torrance CitiCable. Before moving to Wyoming, she worked at a number of cable television stations in Los Angeles, where she anchored, reported, shot and edited all of her stories.
