Coachella Valley native and WBO welterweight boxing champion Timothy Bradley Jr. served as grand marshal of the Riverside County Fair & National Date Festival Presidents' Day Parade.
The parade started at 9 a.m. Monday at Miles Avenue and Deglet Noor Street in
Bradley, a Cathedral City High School alumnus, is the current WBO
welterweight champion and former WBO and two-time WBC light-welterweight
In June, he defeated Manny Pacquiao, becoming the first to do so
Congressman Raul Ruiz also attended.
The fair is open daily at 10 a.m. through Feb. 24.
