Shooter still on the run after gunning down man in Cathedral City

CATHEDRAL CITY, Calif. -

A search is under way today for whoever gunned down a man at Agua Caliente Park in Cathedral City.

The coroner's office says he was 33-year-old Jorge Reina Jr. of Cathedral City.

Officers were called to the entrance of Agua Caliente Park near the area of San Luis Rey and San Gabriel Friday at 8:46 p.m.

Police say they found Reina Jr. suffering from several gunshot wounds.

He died at the scene.

There are no arrests or suspect descriptions.
